Nowadays.........

Nowadays, we live in 21st century. There are a lot of changes from our birth until now in terms of technologies, environment, social, politic etc. During our childhood, 90-an, we lived happily and surrounded by many friends. Every evening right after asar, we went out to play football together, police entry, aci ligan, bola cop, kad tepuk, kad yu-gi-oh, kad digimon, kad pokemon, yoyo, catch fishes in the drain, catch dragonfly in the bushes and so on so forth. All of these activities only happened during our time.

Nowadays, everything has changed. We cannot see anymore the children like ours, we cannot see anymore they spend together during evening, but most of them staying at home and facing the technologies. They are not socialized. Totally.

Nowadays, time has changed. We live with the advanced technologies. Everything has being sophisticated. Everyone uses the gadget and it changed the life of everyone, from the youngest until the oldest. We use it as our entertainment like gaming, but the most important thing we use it as our 'second world', to contact anyone and get the information and news from the internet.

I guess there are a lot of benefits of this gadget, despite not being denied the disadvantages of it. Some of people claimed that the students (primary and secondary school) become worse because of these gadgets and they prohibited their children from using it at home, even watching television and surfing the internet. I, somehow, do not agree with this kind of prohibition.

From my personal opinion, the prohibition of using these gadgets at all is not the best way to prevent the children from being a bad person, because this kind of prohibition will cause the children get more temper to their parents. This is because we are surrounded by the fantastic technologies and the children nowadays are more curious about something new of what is around them. As I discussed before, we have to live according to the particular place and time and we cannot run away from the nature of the life. If we prevent the children from using these gadgets at all, I am afraid they will do something bad behind us which we all do not know.

Thus, since we are living with this kind of technologies, we have to expose the children about the advantages and disadvantages of using it, let them use it in a good way. We have to monitor how they use it, when they use it, where they use it, and why they use it. For example we can put the conditions and restrictions of using it, the time limit to use it, and etc. Every family will be different style of life, thus we must be diligence in educating them. Therefore, we must always be with them, let they fall in love with us, automatically they will respect us and share all the stories with us, and indirectly we will get to know their development.

The most important thing, do not forget to pray after every prayer :

"ربنا هب لنا من أزواجنا وذرياتنا قرة أعين واجعلنا للمتقين إماما"
